* The DEPA PRP classification system*
This is the PRP classification system from Jeremy Magalon that Texas Orthobiologics uses every day.

We use it because it includes dosing in the assessment of PRP.

The example printouts are from a knee patient we just treated last week.....we drew 53cc of blood and added 7cc of ACD-A. We used a two spin technique 2.5 min and then 7.5 min at a RCF of 2170.

Our results? Platelet dose of 11.7 Billion platelets in a 6 cc injection. Concentration of about 8x over baseline. Platelet recovery % = 80%.
The pretty printouts come from PLYMOUTH MEDICAL and is part of their online orthobiologic library and teaching tools.....
And of course, all of this goes into our DataBiologics registry!
