Getting here from Southlake
Take TX-114 east toward Dallas, then I-35E south. Take Woodall Rodgers Freeway east and exit toward Hall Street and Lemmon Avenue. From there it is a short drive on Munger Avenue, North Washington Avenue and Live Oak Street. The trip is about 27 miles. Plan on about 30 minutes with light traffic and more at rush hour.
Our office is at 3310 Live Oak Street, Suite 202. Parking is free in the surface lot at the door. Take the elevator to the second floor.

Do you have an office in Southlake?
No. We have one office, at 3310 Live Oak Street in Dallas. Patients come to us from Southlake, Westlake, Keller, Colleyville, Grapevine and the rest of the area.

It depends on how much wear is in the joint, your age, your activity and your goals. Dr. Buford looks at your X-rays or MRI and examines the knee with ultrasound. Then he explains which option fits you, or whether neither one does.
Is there an alternative to knee replacement for Southlake patients?
For some people with knee arthritis, PRP or BMAC (stem cells) is an option to try before surgery. It is not right for everyone. Dr. Buford is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, so he can tell you plainly whether an injection makes sense for your knee or whether a knee replacement is the better path.
Is PRP an option for tennis elbow or golfer's elbow?
PRP is one of the treatments we use for elbow tendon pain that keeps coming back. Dr. Buford first checks the tendon with ultrasound to see what is going on. He will also talk with you about your swing, your equipment and how much you play.
How many injections will I need?

Who gives the injection?
Dr. Buford does, every time, using ultrasound to guide the needle. It is not handed off to a nurse or another provider.

New patient visits often run past 45 minutes. We go over your imaging, examine the area with ultrasound and talk through your options in detail, so please don't rush it.
