Getting here from the Park Cities
From Highland Park Village, take Preston Road south, then Blackburn Street and North Haskell Avenue to North Hall Street, which leads to Live Oak Street. The trip is about 4 miles and takes about 13 minutes.
Parking is free in the surface lot at our door. Take the elevator to Suite 202 on the second floor.

Yes. Dr. Buford played four seasons of professional baseball, so he knows the throwing elbow well. He checks the ulnar collateral ligament with ultrasound and talks with you about PRP, rehab and, when needed, surgery.
Is PRP or BMAC (stem cells) an option for hip pain?
Sometimes. Hip arthritis, labral pain and tendon pain on the outside of the hip are all things we look at. Dr. Buford uses ultrasound to guide the needle into the right spot, which matters in a deep joint like the hip.
Should I get PRP or stem cells for knee arthritis?
It depends on how much wear is in the joint, your age, your activity and your goals. Dr. Buford looks at your X-rays or MRI and examines the knee with ultrasound. Then he explains which option fits you, or whether neither one does.
Who gives the injection?
Dr. Buford does, every time, using ultrasound to guide the needle. It is not handed off to a nurse or another provider.
