Getting here from Frisco
From The Star, take the Dallas North Tollway south all the way into Dallas, then exit toward Hall Street and Lemmon Avenue. From there it is a short drive on Munger Avenue, North Washington Avenue and Live Oak Street. The trip is about 26 miles and takes about 31 minutes with light traffic, more at rush hour. The tollway has tolls.
Parking is free in the surface lot at our door. Take the elevator to Suite 202 on the second floor.

Do you have an office in Frisco?
No. We have one office, at 3310 Live Oak Street in Dallas. Patients come to us from Frisco, Prosper, Plano, McKinney and the rest of the area.

Can PRP help a biceps tendon problem?
PRP is one option Dr. Buford uses for some biceps tendon problems. Whether it fits depends on whether the tendon is torn and how badly. An exam, ultrasound and sometimes an MRI help sort that out.
Is PRP an option for tennis elbow or golfer's elbow?
PRP is one of the treatments we use for elbow tendon pain that keeps coming back. Dr. Buford first checks the tendon with ultrasound to see what is going on. He will also ask about your swing, your equipment and how much you play.
Is PRP or BMAC (stem cells) an option for hip pain?
Sometimes. Hip arthritis, labral pain and tendon pain on the outside of the hip are all things we look at. Dr. Buford uses ultrasound to guide the needle into the right spot, which matters in a deep joint like the hip.
Is the procedure done the same day?
Yes. All of our procedures use your own blood or bone marrow and are done the same day in our Dallas office. You do not need to come back for a separate injection visit.
Who gives the injection?
Dr. Buford does, every time, using ultrasound to guide the needle. It is not handed off to a nurse or another provider.
