Another study showing bone marrow concentrate equal to or better than a surgical procedure …this time for aneurysmal bone cyst….

Here is a recent article showing another application of bone marrow concentrate in orthopedics…this time for treating aneurysmal bone cysts. Percutaneous injection of BMC and DBM and PRF was equivalent to the the more invasive standard of care of curettage and bone grafting. 80% healed after a single percutaneous injection versus 74% healed after a more invasive surgical curettage and bone grafting. Applications for BMC in orthopedics are only limited by thoughtful imagination and some evidence gathering!
