BMC for Left DRUJ Testimony

This video features a two-week post-procedure testimonial with Dr. Don Buford and a 20-year-old college student who was treated for left distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) instability in her wrist. The patient developed the injury and chronic swelling after multiple falls while snowboarding, which eventually caused her wrist bone to painfully pop out of place whenever she tried to lift weights. After five months of trying other treatments, she opted for an in-office bone marrow concentrate (BMC) stem cell injection into the joint to help the tissue heal and avoid an invasive surgery.

Two weeks after the procedure, which was performed in the office under local anesthesia without sedation, the patient reports excellent progress. She notes that the bone marrow aspiration from her pelvis caused a manageable pain level of 5 out of 10, with the residual soreness dissipating after about a week. She already has full use of her wrist, can lift objects without any pain, and explicitly notes that her wrist has not popped out of place since receiving the injection.
